Dell Printer Error E000

Error Code: E000

Error E000 indicates that the printer has detected an abnormal temperature condition in the fusing unit, the component that applies heat to fix toner onto the paper.

Possible Causes
  • Extended continuous printing causing the fusing unit to overheat.
  • Incorrectly seated or aging fusing components.
  • Temporary sensor or firmware glitch inside the device.
  • Unstable or incorrect power supply to the printer.
Steps to Resolve the Error
  1. Turn the printer off using the power button and disconnect the power cable.
  2. Allow the printer to cool down for at least 10–15 minutes in a well-ventilated area.
  3. Ensure that the power cable is firmly connected to a stable wall outlet.
  4. Reconnect the cable and power the printer back on.
  5. If the error returns, stop using the printer and contact Dell support for inspection.
